RockLogik AI

Built in Kelowna, for the pit

RockLogik AI was founded in 2025 in Kelowna, British Columbia, an hour from the quarries and a day from the mines it serves. We build the sensors, the hub and the analysis, and we install them ourselves.

A small IVAN sensor sitting flush on a machined pad on the muddy axle housing of an articulated rock truck, with the tyres and haul road behind.
Why we started

The most expensive unmonitored part on the site

A conversation with the people who fix these trucks, and one number that would not go away.

When we asked maintenance crews and field-service leads what actually stops a haul cycle, the answer was rarely the engine. The engine has a monitoring programme. It was the transmission, the transfer case, a differential: parts that are inspected by oil sample and by failure, on machines that run six months without a break.

The engineering to catch those failures early has existed for decades on fixed plant. Nobody had made it work on a machine that never holds a speed, sealed it into a puck that survives a pressure washer, and sold it across every make of truck on the site. That is the company.

How we work

What we hold ourselves to

Four commitments that shape the product and the contract.

Physics before models

Every alert is a named diagnostic quantity on a named component. We do not ship a black-box score, because a maintenance planner cannot act on one and should not have to trust one.

Never touch the truck's systems

The bus tap is listen-only in hardware. Sensors are passive. Nothing we fit can change how the truck behaves, and we clear every installation against the warranty terms first.

Earn the lead-time claim

We run in shadow mode before going live, and report what was caught and how far ahead, every quarter. Claims about how early we see failures are made from that record, not from a slide.

Independent of the iron

RockLogik works across every manufacturer on the site and is affiliated with none. Vehicle names on this site are their owners' trademarks and describe compatibility, not endorsement.
